This National Park is located in the state of South Carolina. It is home to the largest intact expanse of old-growth bottomland hardwood forest in the southeastern United States. It contains an array of wildlife and ecosystems, including over 80 different species of trees, and is widely known for the virgin bald cypress tree stands.
